Stainless steel water meters require proper maintenance during daily use to extend their lifespan. Let's take a look at how to maintain them properly.

If stainless steel water meters are not regularly serviced, scale can build up on the meter filter, leading to meter errors. Therefore, regular maintenance is crucial.

When using stainless steel water meters, be careful not to bump or hit them, and keep them clean and dry. If indoor water pipes freeze in winter, avoid heating them. Instead, run hot water at 70 to 80 degrees Celsius over them to dissolve the ice, or raise the room temperature and allow it to dissolve naturally. If the faucet is installed outdoors, close the valve and drain any remaining water below the valve when not in use at night in winter to prevent ice from forming on the pipes and affecting the safe use of the stainless steel water meter.
